Disclaimer

Perhaps the first post to my blog should be a welcome post or something that tells people about me or whatever. Well, to quote my brother, that’s trash.

Would knowing who I am or welcoming people to my blog be useful? Probably not in the least. I’m going to take a wild leap of faith and assume that you, the reader, are someone moderately intelligent - aka able to surf the web and read a blog. In that case, you don’t need a patronizing welcome speech or an inconsequential introduction.

Now at this point I probably sound like a condescending, snarky elitist. DING-DING-DING. I am one. I may have some flaws, few though they may be, but I’ll always tell the truth - as I know it.

This is brings me to the point of this blog post - A DISCLAIMER.

I will be blogging about things, many mundane and many controversial. I will also be using my oh so eloquent posting skills that I have been demonstrating. I will most certainly be representing the world as I know it.

If you should, in your infinite wisdom, believe that I am wrong - good for you. If you have any facts to back you up then please link me or give me a book title and author. If you just plain disagree, you are welcome to give me your opinion, however wrong it may be. If you feel that I have crossed a line, then do let me know. Chances are that I will not give a damn, but at least you are raising the point. I shall at the very least be open to other opinions and viewpoints.

If you have anything that you would like to know my opinion about, then ask. I shall rack my brains to try and come up with a coherent answer. If you do not want to know my opinion, then just do not read this blog.

This is my disclaimer. Any questions people have will be referred to this post and edits will be made to include further information as necessary.

That being said, welcome to the Band Pass Filter. Like the name suggests, this blog will be be tuned to selected frequencies and topics.
